Reduce the stress hormone cortisol with this smoothie “Citrus Pineapple“.

It is  a fact that when cortisol levels increase testosterone will decrease. Therefore the reverse is also true. If we focus on decreasing the stress hormone “cortisol” our testosterone levels will naturally increase.

This delicious smoothie will help you combat stress as it is rich in vitamin C, which has been clinically proven to be helpful at reducing cortisol levels. This recipe is also high in antioxidants and nutrients such as potassium and folate which will help with improving cognitive functioning.


  • 1 cup diced ripe pineapple
  • 1 orange
  • 1/2 mango
  • 1 – 2 cups coconut water
  • 1 inch ginger root grated
