This smoothie will help reduce adrenal fatigue and overall stress levels as it contains Adaptogens and many other beneficial nutrients that help combat stress. Adaptogens are herbal remedies that make you more resilient to stress of all kinds.
This smoothie will also help increase testosterone levels. When your cortisol levels rise your body naturally shuts down testosterone production. So the lower your cortisol levels are the higher your testosterone levels will be.

Damiana: The herb is known to relieve inflammation, soothe the body and prevent buildup of toxins and infection in the body.
Avocados: Are known to reduce cortisol levels and increase testosterone within your body, they contain healthy fats which are useful in limiting unhealthy cholesterol levels in your body which aids in testosterone production. Reduce cortisol and heal Adrenal Fatigue smoothie
- 1 cup – damiana or green tea (room temperature or cold is fine)
- 1/2 – avocado
- 1/2 – cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 tbsp – maca powder (or open capsules)
- 1 inch – ginger root grated
- 1 pinch – of sea salt
- 1/2 tbsp – honey
- 1 tsp – ashwagandha powder
Blend all ingredients for round 45 seconds or to desired consistency is reached. If your Maca and Ashwagandha are in capsule form just open the capsules and pour the extract into the blender.
Smoothies are one of the most convenient ways to reduce your cortisol levels and improve your health.
