3 Non-mainstream methods to increase your sex drive naturally (Unsatisfied sex life due to being overworked)

Some Success driven men will have periods in their life where they put their goals and work as a top priority and naturally the quality of their relationships and sex life suffer.

I am talking about guys really on the grind going all in sleeping no more than 5 hours a night, working long days with very little time for relationships or health. I am going to share with you 3 methods that will increase your sex drive while living an unbalanced lifestyle.

The 3 methods I will be discussing are:

  1. On the 7th day theory
  2. No more porn/Virtual Stimuli
  3. Obsession lifestyle

But firstly of course, I am going to put my face to this blog and discuss briefly my personal experiences with these methods and how they have helped me greatly. (If you’re not interested in what lead me to the discovery of these methods just skip straight to the methods section)

My experience as being a success driven male & being frustrated by not being able to do it all

So it was 2015 and I was driven to learn as much as I could about business and hopefully achieve some financial goals I had set for myself.  I was not afraid of hard work and to take it to the extra gear if having to (I was previously in the army) so I took a manager job in the most prestige areas in Australia.

“I was motivated, driven and knew I was mentally strong so I went for it”.

A typical day for me was to wake up at 3 am arrive at work at 4 am and work 14 hours. On average I would sleep anywhere from 3 to 5 hours all while trying to hit the gym and study as well.

Doesn’t matter how mentally strong you are eventually neglecting your physical health will catch up with you. “I learned the frustrating & embarrassing way”.

It was only a matter of time my poor physical health spelled into my personal life, relationships and sex life.

I could have taken pride in being mentally strong and continue with this lifestyle but I knew my lifestyle had to change. Hence how my lifestyle today is completely different and I work somewhere else.

So in 2015, I had the job and money but I didn’t have any serious relationships going for me. So being the determined guy I am I forced myself into a relationship.

To my frustration trying to make this relationship work I quickly discovered to no surprise my lifestyle lead to a poor quality relationship and poor performance in the bedroom on most occasions. Sleeping 3 to 5 hours a night caught up with me especially with my testosterone levels and my libido wasn’t as high as it should of been. My sexual performance was very average which was very frustrating because she was very above average.

I went from having no problem going multiple times in one night to maybe an average one time.“This was a massive mind fuck, especially since I knew what I could do but my body wasn’t working with me”.

Due to my obsession with self-improvement, I researched ways to improve my libido, testosterone and sexual relations. “I had to figure this out quick” This was a frustrating time because it actually took a couple months before I was able to figure it out and perform highly in the bedroom again even while being extremely fatigued and having low testosterone.

I eventually changed jobs and reorganized my priorities and now live a very healthy lifestyle and have a very above average sex life. But I have to admit I wouldn’t be having the best sex of my life at 26 without going through those very frustrating times discussed above which lead me to learn some very valuable information about libido, testosterone and sexual health.

I know there are more relationships out there that are suffering due to the men having poor health due to their lifestyle. Hopefully, this blog can be some help to you.

Firstly there is no substitute for a healthy lifestyle and to be at your peak physically.  If you are stuck with a lifestyle similar to the one I had you can follow these methods below until you dramatically change your lifestyle and put your health and relationships as higher priorities.

1# On the 7th-day theory

In my opinion, the most important factor to having peak testosterone levels is having enough sleep on a daily basis. If you are sleeping 3 to 5 hours a night there is a good chance your test levels are low and you can’t recover to peak levels, low test levels means low sex drive obviously. (More on this later)

So if increasing the hours you sleep is not an option for you and you live a busy lifestyle this method is perfect for you.

To make it simple there are studies that show that if you withhold from ejaculation for 7 days your testosterone will peak on the 7th day Up to 145% (Study provided below).

I suggest that you plan ahead of when you choose to have sexual relations with your partner. Instead of trying to have sex multiple times a week and underperforming each time having mediocre sex,  try having intercourse on the 7th day of no ejaculation when your test levels are at their highest.

Higher test levels equal higher sex drive, make the 7th night a routine where you prepare and make sure you sleep as much as possible the night before.

Openly discuss this with your partner, you can make it an enjoyable night that you both look forward to every week. Make it interesting and have a weeks’ worth of sex in one night, by withholding for a whole 7 days it should be easier to have sex multiple times in one night.

More about the studies

The purpose of this study is to gain understanding of the relationship between ejaculation and serum testosterone level in men. The serum testosterone concentrations of 28 volunteers were investigated daily during abstinence periods after ejaculation for two phases. The authors found that the fluctuations of testosterone levels from the 2nd to 5th day of abstinence were minimal. On the 7th day of abstinence, however, a clear peak of serum testosterone appeared, reaching 145.7% of the baseline (P < 0.01). No regular fluctuation was observed following continuous abstinence after the peak. Ejaculation is the precondition and beginning of the special periodic serum testosterone level variations, which would not occur without ejaculation. The results showed that ejaculation-caused variations were characterized by a peak on the 7th day of abstinence; and that the effective time of an ejaculation is 7 days minimum. These data are the first to document the phenomenon of the periodic change in serum testosterone level; the correlation between ejaculation and periodic change in the serum testosterone level, and the pattern and characteristics of the periodic change.

 2# No more porn

If you are having trouble with your libido levels you might not actually have a low libido but may be suffering from symptoms of porn addiction.

Porn releases endorphin’s within the brain providing similar feel-good feelings as doing drugs. Anything that releases endorphins is very easy to become addicted to such as porn.

The problem is the more you watch porn the more you desensitize your brain from real interactions with women. Your brain becomes so used to being rewarded with endorphin’s every time you watch porn when you do have real interactions with women you don’t respond as well due to your brain being desensitized.

So it’s harder to get turned on by real interactions with women.

Your brain can be so desensitized by porn that to get a good response from real situations you may have to perform fantasies and fetishes to trigger a sexual response. It’s like when someone is addicted to drugs and no longer gets the same high after using the same drugs for a while and has to increase their dosage or look for a new drug to provide a bigger higher.

So for your Libido and erection quality to be at the highest levels as possible you need to quit porn.

If you are always fatigue and have low test levels you need to at least have a high libido and be very sexual responsive to women.  (EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT ADDICTED QUITTING PORN WILL SKYROCKET YOUR LIBIDO)

This is more serious than you think

I recommend all men to read this book even if you are not addicted. It will change the way you think about virtual stimuli for the rest of the life.

Here are some signs and symptoms of having porn addiction

  • Unable to maintain an erection during sex
  • Sexual tastes have changed
  • can’t get erections through thoughts/fantasies  and nonphysical contact
  • Not interested in interacting with women
  • Poor quality erections
  • Social closed off to others
  • Low energy levels ( flat line energy levels/ low adrenaline)

Quitting is not easy

From personal experience I know quitting is not easy. The quitting process takes a minimum of three months and can be a very stressful but is a very rewarding process.  You will need help and support while quitting, the book I mentioned will answer all your questions. It only cost like $8 on Kindle and there are many online forums to support the process of quitting porn.

You can find online support from these websites

It took me 4 months of quitting porn to fully restore my brains natural functioning and it was worth it. Here are some positive changes I noticed after quitting:

  • I was very sexual responsive to women even while being very tired and having minimal sleep, sometimes even after only sleeping 2 hours a night.
  • I would be turned on by just looking at women
  • I was very interested in interacting with all women it was like my natural male instinct was kicking in
  • Found attractive qualities in all women even if they were average
  • Noticed women checking me out everywhere and all the time (this is a phenomenon to guys that quit porn talk about on online forums, it’s a mystery to me)
  • I would get erections before foreplay would even start whereas before I had to wait for more physical foreplay
  • Have increased energy levels  and  am more responsive to pleasure
  • Increased memory
(If you relapse after quitting don’t stress, On rare occasions, I will watch some porn usually with a partner and if I have any signs of symptoms of being desensitized by porn it will only take about 3 weeks of quitting to reboot my brain. Anyone that is truly addicted or has a poor sex life the minimum of 3 months of quitting is a must, or even better quit for life).

3# Obsession lifestyle

All things testosterone & libido (become obsessed)

Testosterone is a man’s most vital hormone and is critical to your overall health and well-being. Men should be obsessed with having a high sex drive and testosterone levels. I don’t know many guys that are obsessed with increasing their test and libido levels as part of their lifestyle. But I do know many that would buy a non-proven supplement or an unhealthy dick pill to try to increase them.

Is being obsessed creepy?

It may be, obsession is not normal and people don’t like what they don’t understand so they will judge.

And in general, I would say most men don’t have an above average mind-body connection. In my opinion, having the ability to have a healthy mind-body connection and being able to be in total control of your physical and physiologically health is a must to be a superior man.

Having the ability to manipulate your testosterone and libido levels will aid in your ability to be in more control of your physical and psychological health.

High sex drive and relation to success

In Napoleon Hills book “Think and grow rich” he goes into depth of how the energy of libido is often channeled by successful people to focus on achieving specific goals. This is discussed in the chapter on “The Mystery of Sex: Transmutation”

Scientific research has disclosed these significant facts:

  1. The men of greatest achievement are men with highly developed sex natures; men who have learned the art of sex transmutation.
  2. The men who have accumulated great fortunes and achieved outstanding recognition in literature, art, industry, architecture, and the professions, were motivated by the influence of a woman.

Writing during the height of the sexual revolution, Hill claimed that “young people often make the mistake of seeing only the physical side of sex”— Hill believed we needed to take a broader view of sex and the fact we can “use transmuted sex energy to add value to everything” we do. He proposed transforming our sex drive into a “dynamic drive which brings success”.

(Link to view the full chapter “The Mystery of Sex: Transmutation”)

Having Peak testosterone & libido levels can

  •  Increase sex drive
  • Help you achieve the body you desire
  • Increase your energy levels
  • Help you have the best sex life possible
  • Help you have the best relationships possible
  •  Help you complete your goals and chase your dreams (Give you the extra drive)
  • Increase muscle mass
  • Improve erection quality
  • Improve creativity

These are all good reasons to become obsessed with your test and libido levels right?

“Don’t pretend to care, be obsessed”.

An easy habit to start off with is to eat foods that increase test levels and libido every single day off your life. This is very easy all you have to do is select around 4 foods that are scientifically proven to increase your test levels and purchase 7 days’ worth of each.

Pick a time preferably at the end of the day where you focus on eating all these foods. Here is a list of the foods I consume every single day.

  • Almonds
  • Pomegranate juice
  • Half an avocado
  • 1 piece of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil in tea (Contains healthy fats)
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 90% dark chocolate

Sleep is king

Okay like I said In 2014/2015 I was averaging around 3 to 5-hours sleep a night and you may be to. If you are in the same boat and you can’t increase your sleep pattern use the methods I have provided to aid you for now.

“Don’t be a fool SLEEP IS KING”.

I now sleep around  5 to 8 hours a night and this lifestyle change has dramatically skyrocketed my testosterone levels and libido.

The studies

A recent study by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute found testosterone levels dropped significantly in men who don’t get enough sleep—equivalent to aging 10-15 years. The study analyzed 10 healthy, lean guys, averaging around 24 years old. When deprived of sleep, their testosterone levels dropped by a whopping 10-15%

Here is another study by  Penev  (study link)

That compares guys that slept for 8 hours to guys that only slept 4 hours per night.

The results speak for them self, they proved that the more you sleep, the more testosterone your body produces.

Like the studies says lack of sleep on a regular basis can age you up to 10-15 years, if you find it hard to increase your sleep, just think about all the overworked rich men that are bald, frail and fat that drive around in shiny cars. Being well overweight, balding and frail are all symptoms of having low testosterone levels.

 What I wish I knew in 2015

On the contrary with obsession (Gym and body fat %)

During my sex life dilemmas in 2015 I was close to 10% body fat and at times tried to drop below. Big mistake especially since I already had the odds health wise stacked against me.

Dropping below 10% body fat is not the smart thing to do when your sex drive and test levels are already low.

Dropping below 10% body fat can:

  • Create hormone imbalances
  • Decrease energy levels
  • Decrease testosterone levels
  • Lower Sperm Count
  • Decrease Male Libido
  • Decrease  Athletic Performance
  • Create an unbalanced life

Epimedium & Korean Red Ginseng

Epimedium (Horny goat weed) & Korean ginseng are the only 100% natural supplements I take in relation to testosterone and libido.  You could say my obsession with test levels and libido lead me to discover these two herbs.

I knew what herbs and supplements to avoid straight away (I use to own a supplement store in 2013).

My obsession lead me to filter out all the nonsense supplements and so claimed natural remedies.

For an average guy, I have a creepy above knowledge of these 2 herbs.  I did the trial and error and endless hours of research to even break it down to what exactly makes the perfect quality and dosage to take.

“I wish I knew this back in 2015”.

Sometimes living a balanced life is not maintainable for whatever reasons. If your health is suffering due to your lifestyle and you find that your libido and testosterone have declined, its time to take a step back and reevaluate your lifestyle.

These methods/tips in this blog can help you through tough times until you change your lifestyle. Become a master in testosterone and libido manipulation so when the tough times come “and they will”  when you have to go into overdrive for a couple months, at least you will be some control over your psychological and sexual health.
